STOP PRESS
Beaumaris Probus: announcing a new community dinner performance opportunity on 7 August.
Singers get a free dessert! Details below.
New singers
A big welcome this week to James Davidson, who came to rehearsal last week and has joined up immediately! Can't have been the bickies, either, because the sopranos had eaten them all. ?
Coming up to the end of term 2 the push is on again out to attract new members for term 3, just in time for them to enjoy performing in our annual concert on August 31.
Keep an eye out for the Vocally Wild advertisement in the current version of the Neighbourhood Watch newsletter in your letterboxes (15,000 of them). If the response is good, we're looking at running the advertisement again in the next mail drop, which will be to a bigger area with 50,000 addresses.
Here's the ad:
You'll see our brochures now include the QR code, so people can easily get on to our website.
Give it a try.
- Tap to open the camera on your phone
- Point it at the QR code here on the screen (no need to take the pic, just hover).
- A message will drop down at the top of your screen – tap it to open the VW website.
Magic.
New songs
Emma's tracks for the two new songs are now available on the website at Members/Songs:
Both are quite tricky at first, so it's well worth having a good listen and checking your part.
If you are having any issues with accessing or playing or downloading the tracks, chat to Derek or Clint or email Clint at learnwks@bigpond.net.au .
