Hello! Hopefully you are enjoying your break and that you have a safe, happy Easter. What a great 'Open Mic' session we had on the last night of Term 1. Well done to all who took part, it was wonderful; It was so obvious that everyone loved it! Thank you to Ilse who read her two beautiful poems - 'Season's Lesson' and 'Cantaloupes Sound So Frenchy Chic', Graham, Peter and John performed a splendid version of 'Swell Party' with much energy and fun, William Mulholland's 'Tenterfield Saddler' and 'Love is in the Air' were stunning with everyone dancing and singing and wasn't Patrice brilliant with her performance of 'Dream of Olwen'? To finish off the night, everyone bopped and sang along with Dianne's beautiful voice to 'Sweet Caroline' and 'Hit the Road Jack'. What a happy, cheerful and very pleasant ending to the term.
I trust the ANZAC Parade on Easter Sunday will be a huge success with much interest from the community, as always, and that the Vocally Wild group to sing at the WWII Veterans's Lunch on Friday, 12th April bring much joy to those present and stir many good memories.

A.G.M. 3RD APRIL
You will notice at the top of this Newsletter the names and email addresses of the 2019 Vocally Wild Committee, so if you have any queries or just wish to put forward an idea, or need some help with anything to do with Choir, please make contact. Thank you to all those who attended the A.G.M; and welcome to the elected members for 2019. The 2018 year was a good one for the choir. If anyone wishes to view the year's results and read the Minutes, please advise a Committee member. This is a good opportunity to reiterate that if you have a wish for us to rehearse a favourite song, it would be ideal if you could first attempt to acquire the music arrangements for the four parts (SCAB version).
I will be off to Yorkshire on Sunday, so perhaps the next newsletter will come from there!!
Kindest regards,
Pat Lowry.
